Abstract

In the battle against climate change, decarbonization and
the shift to zero emissions have emerged as crucial
priority, especially in the manufacturing and industrial
sectors, which account for a significant portion of the
world's greenhouse gas emissions. Reaching zero
emissions in these areas is essential to meeting global
climate goals, such those set out in the Paris Agreement.
This analysis examines the technologies and techniques
being used by industrial facilities and industries to
increase ecarbonization. These include energy efficiency
enhancements, the integration of renewable energy
sources, carbon capture and storage (CCS), and circular
economy practices. Case studies of businesses and
industries spearheading the decarbonization movement
are emphasized to provide real-world illustrations of the
shift to an economy with zero emissions. Since stronger
ecosystems and cleaner air lead to better public health,
this article also addresses the related health and wellness
advantages of lowering industrial emissions. The
difficulties of reaching zero emissions are finally
discussed, along with  avenues for further study.
