The quality of the finished product may be greatly impacted by the careful control over parameters of magnetic abrasive
finishing (MAF), a sophisticated surface finishing technology. For manufacturing to achieve desired results, such an
increased material removal rate, the MAF process parameters must be optimized. The Taguchi technique (L27) is used in
this research to determine the best process settings for finishing SS316 material, and ANOVA analysis is used to determine
the essential factors that influence the material removal rate. Regression analysis was also used to forecast the MRR.
